Koç University BioImaging Center (KUBIC) is happy to announce the recent acquisition of a dedicated live-cell imaging microscope. This Olympus Xcellence inverted microscope is specifically designed to conduct long-term imaging of eukaryote cells. Containing both a heat-source and CO2 regulatory module the microscope maintains cells in an optimal environment over the course of the experiment. Images are collected with an exquisitely sensitive Andor iXon 897 EMCCD camera which is capable of measuring a single photon. This microscope is ideally suited for:
